About Myself

Hi, I'm Karman Singh, an 8th grader and biology enthusiast. I believe learning bout the human body should not be limited to college classrooms or textbooks - it should be accessible, exciting, and meaningful, especially for students like me.

My fascination of anatomy started when I was in my 6th grade classroom. Our teacher gave us the assignment to write about our bodies. As I started to write, I became astounded by the way our bodies work. But when we were done with the assignment almost nobody understood any thing about what happens inside the body. This sparked a mission: to help increase awareness and knowledge of anatomy in today's generation. Since Launching "Inside The Human Body" I have learned tons of things about anatomy, and how to balance my time with writing blog posts that are interesting for middle and high school students. While this site began as a broad exploration of our bodies, I've recently became much more intrigued into the topic of neuroscience - and now I am expanding my content to focus more on neuroscience. n My ultimate goal is to study neuroscience at Northwestern University. Through Inside The Human Body, I've found that neuroscience is where anatomy becomes personal - where biology meets emotion, memory, and identity. At Northwestern, I hope to deepen that exploration in the lab and in writing, building on the work I have already begun. And one day hope this passion hopefully turns into helping patients, not just students. In the same also to continue making anatomy accessible to every one - whether through a hospital, a classroom, or on a call. We need to learn how our bodies work regardless of the circumstances. Without knowing about our bodies it would be almost impossible to take care and value them. So come join this amazing anatomy journey.

(P.S) When I'm not researching about the spleen I would either play some tennis, listen to music, or just staring at the wall.
